An old house in Westboro was suffering from a leaky and rotten bay window that was replaced with this dual, double hung unit that required and extension to the existing framing and a new small roof over the extension. LED exterior lights were also added in the soffit for nighttime effect.

A roughed-in bathroom that was never completed got the finishing touches with subfloor leveling, drywall, electrical and ceramic/marble tiles with heated floors, making a once unused space a tiny oasis. Craftsman trim and a glass door were added later.

A cottage owner who’s old deck rotted away requested a design and build replacement. This 24 x 16 deck with a 45-degree angle and simple steps to allow for maximum deck space was made from treated pine. Steps have mitered corners and top is “picture framed” to conceal all cuts from the top boards. Built on 6×6 posts on 12-inch concrete tubes supported by 2×12 cross beams and 2×8 joists, this deck will last 25 years or more.
