A couple with an older house but surprisingly dry basement wanted it finished with a bedroom with closets, bathroom, laundry and furnace room. While the ceiling was low in parts due to duct work, SCL designed the best possible use of space, laid out a plan for the homeowners, then built and finished the basement to code — with ESA certified electrical. Spray-foamed walls ensure the entire space stays warm all winter and keeps any moisture out. Efficient LED lighting and heated floors in the bathroom add coveted finishing touches.
